about MMA in Brazil (in a city called Campina

During one year, i've followed the trainings, fights 

and daily life of several MMA fighters from Campina 

Grande, a medium/small city situated in the 

Northeast of Brazil. In spite it's a zero budget and a

one-man-crew documentary, "Aqui vale tudo" 

(A fighting tradition), a 71 minutes documentary,

has been selected and screened by two Brazilian film 

festivals, in Rio de Janeiro (Festival de cinema digital 

- 1o Cine Bloco Digital) and in Tocantins (8a 

Mostra Miragem), between 2012 and 2013.

AQUI, CONTUDO, O FOCO É MAIS NOS ATLETAS LOCAIS, ALGUNS SONHAM EM SE TORNAREM GRANDES, OUTROS TRABALHAM O DIA TODO, OUTROS TENTAM VIVER SÓ DE LUTA E AULAS DE "VALE TUDO", OUTROS ESTUDAM NA UNIVERSIDADE E PENSAM NUM FUTURO ONDE A LUTA SEJA APENAS UM HOBBY, O QUE RESSALTA A AMPLA HETEROGENIA QUE ENVOLVE O UNIVERSO DOS LUTADORES, MUITAS VEZES VITIMAS DE RÓTULOS QUE OS REDUZEM A PESSOAS IGNORANTES, BRUTAS E POUCO INTELIGENTES. ATRAVÉS DE ALGUNS ATLETAS, ALÉM DE LUTAS E TREINOS, VAMOS MOSTRAR AS PECULIARIDADES DE BAIRROS "HUMILDES" DE CAMPINA GRANDE QUE MUITAS VEZES SOFREM, ASSIM COMO OS LUTADORES, FORTES PRECONCEITOS SOCIAIS, ADVINDOS DE APRIORISMOS E LUGARES COMUNS.
